Product goals
Increase sign-ups
Increase engagement
Cultivate a list of users and their brands of interest
The main goal of Wishlists is to capture new users, increase engagement with our product and reduce B2B sales friction. The User journey comes from exploring things they want, adding items to their wishlist, then making a purchase, and finally unlocking utility in the post-purchase.
A wishlist will provide another way for users to engage with the Appreciate app, for example by tracking the prices of items they wish for, or sharing them via social media. In contrast with Wallets, users will be able to add any item—items that they wish for—to a Wishlist. Thus, we assume user engagement with Wishlists will be far greater than with Wallets.
User stories
As a luxury bag shopper, I want to have a place where I can save my favorite items so that I can use them for future reference or inspiration.
Users want to view the resale value of items they are interested in so that they can use the information for their next buy.
Users want to share items they are interested in with their friends/family so that people users shared can comment on the items or know what to buy for them in the future.
